On August 26, 2008, it was announced that Professor Kathy Brock, Associate Professor at the School of Policy Studies and the Department of Political Studies, Queen's University is the recipient of the 2008 Pierre De Celles/IPAC Award for Excellence in Teaching Public Administration. The award was created eight years ago to honour the memory of Prof. Pierre De Celles, former Director of the Ecole nationale d'administration publique, and President-elect of IPAC at the time of his death in 2000. It was awarded during the Institute of Public Administration of Canada's 60th annual conference by Maria David-Evans, Chair of the IPAC Endowment Fund.
